Dubai has two airports, and this page is the city, not a single terminal. Dubai International is on the metro. Al Maktoum is south of the city and is reached by bus or car from metro stations such as Ibn Battuta and Expo. A hotel in the Marina is a different ride from each of them. The Red Line and the Green Line, plus the tram in the Marina, cover the places most visitors stay. Buses and taxis do the rest. You pay with a nol card. The metro does not run all night, and the airport guidance on luggage is to travel light, about two pieces. A family arrival is often already past that.
